What customers say?

“ The foods are better than I thought. If you like century egg, I really recommend the Century Egg Porridge (it’s around 700-800 yen). It is even better if you add a bit of soy sauce and black pepper! I was lucky that when I went there it wasn’t full, but after I left there was a big family coming to the restaurant. This is the first place I found that inside the sesame dumplings are black sesame instead of red beans. After they fried the dumplings, the filling was melt and became really tasty The Hakao is filled with shrimp. Like A SHRIMP SHRIMP It was really good and I think worth the price. The restaurant is run by Chinese people, and the lady that I met was nice and friendly. I spent 2,030 yen overall. Next time I want to go there and try the noodle and boiled chicken! Also, their lunch sets look pretty worth it too. ”

“ Siri recommended me this restaurant when I asked about breakfasts in Kobe. This place provides breakfast Yum Cha, or Dim Sum, only on Saturdays and Sundays. I was lucky I was here on Saturday. The two basic sets cost only JPY380. Other items are all JPY280. Taxes are not included. This restaurant is worth trying if you stay near Motomachi area, because Chinese style breakfast is not popular in this country. Please be careful about hours for breakfasts. Only at 08:30am-10:15am on Saturdays and Sundays. ”

“ The century egg porridge is light and makes a good breakfast. The owner, a friendly lady, is also very nice. ”

“ This is a cheap and tasty Chinese restaurant. Their free-refill porridge lunch is absolutely delicious! I visited around 11:30 a.m. on a weekend, and the place quickly filled up as customers kept coming in. The "Fried Chicken and Mapo Rice Bowl" was delicious, with crispy fried chicken and tangy mapo tofu. My companion ordered the boiled dumplings and fried rice set, which was also delicious. Many other customers ordered the grilled pork set meal. I'd like to try it next time! This is a cheap and tasty Chinese restaurant. Their free-refill porridge lunch is very good! We visited the restaurant around 11:30 a.m. on a weekend, and the place was full of customers one after another. The "fried chicken and hot bean paste bowl" was delicious with crispy fried chicken and hot bean paste. My companion ordered the gyoza and fried rice set, which was also delicious. Many other customers ordered the grilled pork set meal. I would like to try it next time!!! ”

“ I happened upon this place on my way to the Hyogo Prefectural Government Office, and was lured in by the unusual slogan "free refills of porridge." f(^_^; I arrived in the afternoon, so it was pretty empty and I was able to get a seat easily. (^_^) I ordered the char siu noodles and fried rice set from the lunch menu. (^_^) The ramen had a light and refreshing flavor, and it included water spinach (I think), Chinese cabbage, and of course, char siu. (^∇^) The char siu was slightly thick and satisfying, and the noodles were thin and easy to eat. (^.^) The fried rice wasn't too dry, but it wasn't too moist either, but it was still quite tasty. (^_^) By the way, the porridge with unlimited refills is self-service. It's a self-service style in the back of the restaurant, so even if you wait, they won't come (lol). (*≧∀≦) But the porridge was so delicious, I ended up eating about three bowls (lol). (;^_^A Some might think, "I ordered fried rice and then porridge? ▪▪▪" But the fried rice is a combination with the ramen soup, and the porridge is sipped between the two, so I never got bored of it (lol). ( ̄▽ ̄;) Well, next time I go, I'll be more careful when choosing my menu so I don't end up ordering the same thing over and over again. (^∇^) Thank you for the meal. (。-人-。) ”

“ They're only open on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning. A set of yakisoba, fried bread, and seafood porridge costs 600 yen. It's cheap, delicious, and a great place. ”

“ I found this Chinese restaurant on YouTube before visiting Kobe Motomachi and decided to visit. It's a Chinese restaurant that serves a breakfast menu from early in the morning. I was able to enjoy a delicious meal similar to the dim sum you'd find at breakfast overseas. The set meal, which includes noodles, porridge, and youtiao (Chinese fried bread), is quite filling, so I think two people could share it. I went with my partner and ordered the set meal, dim sum, and egg tart. Personally, I was happy to be able to try egg tarts, which I don't often have the opportunity to try elsewhere. ”

“ Visited in April 2021. I ordered the Yakisoba breakfast and a side order of char siu. It's a price you wouldn't expect in Chinatown on the ocean side. The char siu is displayed in chunks in a glass case outside the store. If I have the chance, I'd like to take it out in chunks. ”
